Crunching the numbers
The Town of Antigonish and its volunteer fire department honoured retiring members Stewart Grant (left) and Angus MacGillivray, who have served for almost 19 and 25 years respectively, at Monday's council meeting.       The Town of Antigonish has not received a definite date for the start of construction on a new bridge at the east end of Main Street.
      “We are hoping to see some significant movement in the next three weeks,” Mayor Carl Chisholm said.
      “I would like to be able to give you a definite date but we certainly know the sooner they get going, the sooner they are going to get finished.
